This Alkalinity Test Kits uses a Direct Reading Titrator with standard acid to the phenolphthalein (P) and/or total (T) alkalinity endpoint. Range and sensitivity is 0-200 ppm as CaCO3 in 4 ppm increments.
This kit tests for Iodine using the direct reading titrator method. Range/Sensitivity is 0-50 ppm/1 ppm I2.
This pH test kit tests for pH using the Octa-Slide 2 Comparator ranging from 8.0 – 9.4 pH.
The Insta-TEST® Total Chlorine test strips are a convenient way to test water for Total Chlorine. Range and sensitivity is 0, 0.5, 1, 3, 5 ppm.
This kit tests for QAC using the Direct Reading Titrator method. Range and sensitivity is 0-1,000 ppm/20 ppm, 0-5,000 ppm/100 ppm with dilution.
A masked bromphenol blue indicator is added to the sample and turns green. Sodium tetraphenylboron is added to complex the QAC and the color changes to red. This method is best suited to higher QAC concentrations.
The Insta-TEST® 5 Way strips provide fast results for Nitrate, Nitrite, pH, Alkalinity and Total Hardness.
The Insta-TEST® Copper & Iron Test Strip Kit measures Copper levels from 0-3.0 ppm and Iron levels from 0-5.0 ppm. The Copper test strip has been improved with a one-dip formula that offers very distinct colors. The one-dip Insta-TEST® Iron test strip formula eliminates the need to pre-treat the sample with a reduction tablet prior to measuring Iron with a test strip. The Iron strip makes the testing process simpler with just one dip of the strip into a pool or spa before matching the reaction to a color chart on the bottle. There are 25 strips packaged per bottle.
This Aluminum test kit measures aluminum in water using the Octa-Slide 2 Comparator. A pink to red color will form when aluminum reacts with Eriochrome Cyanine R, at pH 6. Range and sensitivity is 0-0.5 ppm Al3+.
This kit tests for Low Iron in water using Iron Reagents and the LRC Comparator. Range/Sensitivity is 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.30, 0.40, 0.60, 0.80, 1.0 ppm Fe.
The compact SMART®3 Colorimeter is ideal for water analysis in the field or in the lab. Easy to use software allows the analyst to choose a test factor from over 60 pre-programmed calibrations for LaMotte reagent systems. The reacted sample is always scanned at the optimum wavelength which is automatically selected from the multiple LED optical system and the test result is presented on the large, backlit display. The colorimeter test results is displayed directly in units of concentration, as well as Absorbance and %T, in one of seven languages. The analyst also has the option of entering up to 25 additional calibrations for analysis with custom reagent systems. Test factors can be arranged in any of three sequences that can be modified at any time to meet changing testing needs. The data logger holds up to 500 time and date stamped data-points. A USB connection allows an interface of the colorimeter with a computer for real-time data acquisition and data transfer. The meter logs up to 500 data points.
